Tony, all I can say is amazing work. I fired my .22 airforce condor, literally as loud if not a touch louder than .22 rimfire. With your shroud its no louder than a .177 from wally world. The only bit louder is the impact, Im shooting through an inch and a half of pine at 35 yards on power level 4.8. Never been so impressed. Thank you for your quality work.

Hi Tony –

First off I want to say how happy I am with the Condor shroud and 95gr hammer and adjustable top-hat – superb quality and well done. The shroud is amazingly quiet – I had to double check my chrono to see what I wasn’t hearing!! Dead silence at 1100+ fps.

From David 12/9/2015

After running 2 other shrouds on my gun it was time to step up to the talon tunes shrouds and see what all the talk is about.

When i got my hands on it i was impressed with the built quality. I inspected it from one end to the other and evry bit of it is impressive. The instalation is as easy as it can be take off the barrel band and slide this shroud on then secure with the included grub screw. Thats it. The performance is the most impressive part.

I ran it up again my other 2 shrouds and it is hands down the quietest! It does not matter weather i am running 40 fpe or 90 this thing works. At 40 fpe the impact is almost 30 db louder than the gun going off.

At 90 fpe its still quieter than the impact but only by about 10 db. The construction is solid also. It handles the 3400 psi i push through it with no issues. I have blown other shrouds apart and ripped one off the gun with the high pressures but this one is a beast.

Excellent work Tony! Keep it up.

This shroud is fantastic, I can actually shoot my Condor in my backyard now! It was very loud before like a .22 rimfire and now all you hear is the slap of the hammer once its fired. I intilly thought the price was really high and after I examined it I see how much design and detail went into its construction. If you need to quiet your Condor down, this is the tool to do it. Thanks Tony.

Simply out of this world. Nothing compares to Tony’s Shroud. I bought a a couple cheaper shrouds they were not bad but nothing I have used compares to this. All you hear is hammer slap and if you buy TT hammer slap mod well that also decreases significantly. My gun is stealth! Thanks Tony!

I have had this on my condor for a couple of years now and it is fantastic. As advertised, the pellet hitting the trap is louder than the gun and on low to mid power settings, only the hammer fall is audible. Yes, it is expensive, but so is the gun, the scope, the air tank, and everything else on a high-performance air rifle. Do yourself a favor and get one, you won’t regret it. Thanks Tony!

I had a talon P and loved it ,except for a very hard trigger. After I learned that the trigger was not adjustable,I asked Tony what he could do for it.After talking about the options (selling the gun,or have Tony tune it and polish the trigger),I decided to have him do his magic! And he was always very clear about my trigger,he said that he could make it break cleaner. When I got the gun back I could not have been more impressed! Not only did the tune totally change the gun,(I also got the large tank, and his own top hat )with this said,I also must say that I was noticing little improvements like the cocking action was totally smooth now. And the trigger is totally fine,it breaks cleanly and is very acceptable. This is now pretty much my favorite gun in every way! I am so impressed that I am going to post a video with me shooting the Talon P at 60 yards , getting incredibly tight groups. Also hitting a four inch steel disk repeatedly at 100 yards! With a pistol!! There is no way I could do this before Tonys tune, and I tried! In the video I will show how many usable shots I get, it is so many I will not say here, because it sounds like BS. There will be a link to the video as soon as I get it done. Thanks Tony!!! This gun is so fun!

I wanted to let you know that I finally had a chance to try the shroud and it reduced the sound on my Condor to a very acceptable level. Thanks for the good work.

I wanted to thank you again for my custom TalonP. The 9in shroud is amazing! Even after all the power mods it measures only 46db at the muzzle with a LC1 decibel meter. I was looking for a special purpose fox and coon gun that was as compact as possible and you delivered EXACTLY what I asked for. With the restriction removed from the quick change top hat it throws heavy JSB’s at 990fps from that little 12in barrel, and with enough precision and consistency to shoot half inch groups at 50 yards all day long.
I’m attaching a pic of my furthest airgun kill to date, taken at 91 yards with my TalonTunes TalonP. It took a full 5mil hold which maxed out my Hawke reticle at 10x. No other airgun so light and compact could give me the power and precision for such a long head shot.

I just have to tell you about this rifle that Tony at Talontunes built for me. I have it mounted in a Maddog bench rest stock that’s a great platform for long range shooting. The rifle has Tony’s newest shroud he just completed, let me tell you it is so quiet that when I first shot it I was sure it malfunctioned. It’s a .25 at full power, shooting in the high 900s. When you shoot it,it sounds like you dropped your keys on the floor from knee high!! Then you hear the sound of the pellet smack the steel target and it is way louder than the report of the rifle! So far I haven’t been able to get it to a bench yet,but shooting off a dresser out my backdoor at 85yds I am able to get 5 shot groups around 3/4 of an inch! I can imagine how good it will be on the bench with my rest and bag! Oh and also,if you’re not too fond of Airforce triggers (they seem too hard for me),have no fear because Tony can fix that problem. My condor trigger breaks cleanly at 17 oz. So I bet you can tell I’m pretty happy! I have no pics yet,but that rifle is sweet looking. Thanks Tony, I love the gun!! No kidding,a .25 AAA condor that is backyard friendly!! Better make sure of the backstop though

Great shroud impact on target louder than shot itself. If you are a hunter strongly recommend can get more than one shot before flocks of birds fly away not able to do without shroud.

Ant, welcome to the sickness bro. I have an **** shroud and a 14 inch Talon Tunes gen 6 shroud. Hands down the tt shroud is the quietest. Not dinging the **** shroud that thing is solid and does a good job but nothing compares to the tt shroud. I have a few videos on youtube testing it and the decibel meter does not lie. At 90 fpe the impact is louder than the shot. And Im not shooting at gongs or cow bells my trap is an ammo can with several layers of Kevlar in the back with 2 layers about 1.5 inches think of high density foam with a layer of cardboard over the front so the targets stick. Its a pretty quiet and soft target. At lower power levels its truly ridiculous how quiet it is. At 36 and 40 fpe I knew I pulled the trigger cause there was a hole in the target its that quiet.

Check out Onebaddj on youtube or go to talon tunes website and scroll down to the gen 6 shroud review.

I have the Condor .25 standard….in other words the loud one!
I love the sound but the neighbors did not. It sounds as powerful as it is. I bought the Standard Condor as the SS version is slightly less powerful according to specifications.
I talked to Tony and he told me that this sound moderator would still allow full power and yet make it a lot more neighborhood friendly.
I ordered it and got it in two days. Easy installation. Remove the factory barrel support. Slide on the 14 inch moderator and then tighten down the set screw into the factory hole for the factory barrel support. Fit and finish is excellent. This suppressor is built very well. Nothing but quality.

The difference in the noise is amazing. It got rid of that .22 rimfire noise and made the gun almost mouse fart quiet. It did not affect the power out and also did not affect the accuracy of the .25 Condor. It does make the gun about 5 inches longer. I got used to that very quickly when I started shooting.

If you are looking for the best sound moderator for the AirForce Condor, this is it.
I may sound like a paid commercial but I am just a shooter looking to improve my Condor to its best abilities. Tony’s products do that and makes shooting the Condor a whole new experience.
    Thanks Tony!
